We were commissioned to create a transition document to give parents a voice during the transition from Primary to Secondary school. The document collated information about SEN and Pastoral issues.
Feedback from parents and school staff included: "Excellent support tool for tutors" "It meant my daughter was able to access support immediately without a getting to know you period" "I would recommend the process to any parent".
Parents engaged in practical experiences, discussion and presentations. We had fun, laughter, serious discussion, tears and hugs.
" Easy to understand and lovely trainers"
"Brilliant knowledge and experience delivered in an informal and concise manner"

Join us for a coffee and a chat and the chance to meet other parents and carers of children with special needs. Your child does not need to have a diagnosis to attend. We will introduce ourselves, our services and share sensory resources that you can make at home. Children are welcome to stay and play! We aim to hold monthly coffee mornings with a different topic each month such as Sensory Stories, Behaviours that challenge and Communication. Attendance is free and refreshments will be available. Hope to see you there.
