Meet Molly and Daisy
Hi, we are Nicola and Eloise, the Directors of SENDS Support CIC.
I've always wanted to work with children and soon found that my heart was drawn to children with special needs - Nicola
From a very young age, I wanted to be a teacher. After becoming a SENCO I became passionate about supporting and enabling special needs children and their families - Eloise
I have a very busy household, with 2 sons, my husband Steve and not forgetting Daisy the pug.
I enjoy reading, walking my dog and interior design.
I enjoy all aspects of working with pupils with SEND, I particularly enjoy working with children who have autism and profound difficulties. My expertise is in communication and multi-sensory impairment.
My husband Simon has a very busy life, with myself and three daughters to contend with. Even Molly the pug is a girl!!
I enjoy reading, shopping and listening to music.
Working with people who have SEND is my passion rather than a job. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who display behaviours that challenge. My expertise is in positive behaviour support, Sensory Processing Disorder and paperwork and advocacy.
Our strategies will take hard work, perseverance and commitment from all involved. They are not an overnight solution - they will take time and patience; however the end results will improve the life opportunities of your family.
Working with us will involve a process of change, for both your family and your child's support network. You may all be asked to adapt your approaches and if you do so, you will never look back!

Nicola is a director and consultant of SENDS Support CIC and is a Level 3 teaching assistant with 23 years’ experience of primary and special education. Nicola specialises in positive behaviour support, communication, 1-1 interventions and multi-sensory impairment.
We specialise in positive behaviour support, communication and social interaction, life skills, sensory processing and anxiety. We have gained vast knowledge and understanding of the children and young adults we support and ensure that we keep up to date with relevant training, therapies and interventions.
We support in the family home, identifying areas of need before teaching and modelling strategies to empower parents and provide them with the skills and confidence to best support their child.
Our support is tailored to each individual and their family to promote positive choices and life opportunities.
We understand that having special needs affects not only the individual but impacts upon the whole family, our mission is to enable families to achieve their aspirations for the future.
Families inform us that they are given a diagnosis without any further guidance or information about their child’s additional needs.
We act as advocates to help parents to understand their child and the diagnosis they have been given, we can support with EHCP application, signposting, mediation, meetings with school and other professionals to ensure their child is receiving the support they need.
Through talking to parents, we have come to understand the difficulties they face when trying to access support in the home. We appreciate that there are very few ways to get relevant and practical advice and strategies for decision making, dealing with challenges and developing the skills and confidence to best support their child.
We do not charge for travel to areas within a 15 mile radius of our office. Areas outside of this radius are subject to travel costs of 45p per mile. We calculate travel costs from our office based in the DE55 area.
